God Made You Too

My three year old often asks me, “Mommy, who made you?” I usually answer him by telling him “God made Mommy and God made you too”. We then go into a conversation about God’s love and how He created everything.

"God Made You Too", by Chelsea Tornetto, answers this very question my three year old son asked me. Through the beautiful illustrations done by Kimberley Barnes , captivates the reader and brings them along a journey exploring all of God’s creations, but highlights His most prized creation, you!

My sons shared with me some of their favorite things about the book. My three year old expressed he liked the sea animals -the octopus, the turtle and the whale. Where as my oldest explained how he liked the illustrations, the rhyming throughout the book and how it ended with the Bible verse, Genesis 1:31. Overall, my sons enjoyed this book and they said they would recommend it to other children.

So, if you ever get the question “Who made you? Or "Who made me"? I encourage you to add “God Made You Too" to your children's library. This book came into our lives at the perfect time to help me explain to my three year old son, who created him.
