Ziora's Quest: Mommy's Milk Rocks!

Illustrated by Solomiia

Have you ever wanted something reeeeaaaally badly?... but what you got wasn’t quite what you expected?

Ziora wished for a baby sister for a long time, but now her little sister just wants to breastfeed. What’s the big deal about mommy's milk, anyway?

Join Ziora as she explores the amazing world of Milky White and learns the true power of and super fun facts about breast milk! For instance, did you know breast milk comes in many different colors?

Nursing moms will find Ziora’s Quest: Mommy’s Milk Rocks! a refreshing read that will endear them even more to their children. It’s a book for children who wished for a new sibling, but feel disappointed when the baby takes so much of Mama’s time.

Dr. Amaka Nnamani, board-certified pediatrician, Breastfeeding Coordinator for the Pennsylvania chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and breastfeeding advocate, skillfully narrates the benefits of breastfeeding. The first of its kind, this story of a six-year-old “new big sister” is entertaining, educational and appropriate for children and adults.

This book is available in hardcover, paperback and Kindle.

Check out my read aloud of Ziora's Quest: Mommy's Milk Rocks! on YouTube. As well as the comprehension quiz I created to go along with the story.

In addition, Dr. Amaka Nnamani has created a activity book to go along with, Ziora’s Quest: Mommy’s Milk Rocks!

This is a fun companion activity book to the published picture book, 'Ziora's Quest:Mommy's Milk Rocks!'. It is educational and includes fun activities like Color by Numbers, Mazes, Spot the Difference, Match the Shadow and Word Search.

Parents and caregivers will especially enjoy the included suggestions on what big brother/sister can do while the baby feeds.

An answer key is also included.

If you don't see a book listed here that I missed, please share in the comment section and I will be sure to add it to this list!
